The Purpose of this Association is to promote the administration of law enforcement in the respective cities in this state through educational and instructional activities. We aim to provide a more professional atmosphere within our departments for the benefit of the people, our departments, our Chiefs of Police and ourselves.

The Association has been and is involved in numerous activities for the betterment of law enforcement and community organizations both professionally and personally. Activities have included:
The Vera Thomassee/Pat Landry Scholarship in recognition and promotion of the role administrative secretaries play in law enforcement. This annual scholarship of $1000 is presented to a student enrolled in a criminal justice program at an accredited university,junior college or vocational/technical school.
annually donates to a non-profit organization within the community where the spring meeting is held.
supports families of officers killed in the line of duty from member agencies.
supports and is supported by the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police.
